Single-core performance figures of the new Intel Core i7-11375H Special Edition from a purported Asus TUF Dash F15 laptop have leaked. The scores seem to indicate perceivable improvements over the Core i7-10750H and a significant lead over the AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS. Though these are still early leaks, they seem to be in the ballpark of what Intel claimed during its CES announcement of the Tiger Lake-H35 series.
Intel announced the Core i7-11375H Special Edition Tiger Lake-H35 series at CES 2021, and we saw the CPU being featured in laptops such as the MSI Stealth 15, Asus TUF Dash F15, and more. Now, we are seeing some leaked benchmarks of the Core i7-11375H purportedly from the Asus TUF Dash F15 laptop.
Discovered by @9550pro, we see the Core i7-11375H's results in Cinebench R15 and R20 single-core along with what appears to be Master Lu's CPU benchmark (from the translation). These scores have been compared with a Core i7-10750H.
According to the leak, the Core i7-11375H scores 236 points in Cinebench R15 single-core and 605 points in Cinebench R20 single-core. These scores are about 11 and 19% higher, respectively when compared to the Core i7-10750H. We also see the Core i7-11375H scoring 23% higher than the Core i7-10750H in Master Lu's CPU benchmark, which is a popular benchmarking tool in the Chinese market.
The Core i7-11375H also seems to score significantly higher than the AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS, which is also a 35 W chip. Compared to the Ryzen 7 4800HS's performance in the Asus Zephyrus G15 GA502IU, we see the Core i7-11375H being about 25.5% faster in Cinebench R20 single and nearly 27% faster in Cinebench R15 single.
During its CES presentation, Intel said that it expects the Core i7-11375H to beat the Ryzen 7 4800HS and the Ryzen 9 4900H by nearly 30% in single-core performance (in SPECRATE 2017_int_base), and it looks like that might indeed be the case. However, do note that the numbers we see here are still leaks from a single laptop and may not represent final performance, so do take them with a pinch of salt for the moment.
That being said, it will be interesting to see how Tiger Lake-H35 fares against the new Ryzen 5000 H-series upgrade from AMD. We will have to wait till January 26 to get more concrete numbers.
